Dynamics GP Blog

I am sure many of you have already heard but I just wanted to put it down in writing here regarding the next release of Dynamics GP. It will be called Dynamics 2010 and will be availabe for general release in May of 2010.

There is quite a bit of hoopla surrounding this release and there are a few major enhancements. I will give you my quick summary:

1. Report Writer will be replaced with Microsoft Word. (Long time coming – can’t wait to see how useful it really is.)

2. Dashboard enhancements with the ability to drill down from the dashboard to the detailed transaction.

3. Enhanced workflow. Finally there will be some tools that will enable you to design business processes in the software without needing a third party tool (no offense SwareIndex – the love affair might be over.)
