With the Release of Microsoft Dynamics GP came over 60 free SSRS reports that link to your GP data. These reports were designed by Microsoft and come ready to deploy with an easy to use deployment wizard that can be found on your GP DVD. Follow these simple steps to start enjoying the terrific power that SQL reporting services has to offer to the already solid platform of Microsoft Dynamic GP 10.
- On the GP 10 DVD navigate to AdProd > SrsRpts
- Run the SRSReports application
- If the application does not exist in the location on the DVD the program can be found by clicking here
- Select a location to install the Report Application (Note: Running this application only installs the program that will create the reports.)
- If you selected the default installation location navigate to All Programs > Microsoft Dynamics > Business Intelligence >Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Wizard
- Enter the Dynamics GP Server Name
- Enter the SQL log on credentials
- Select the company which you would like to deploy the reports for and the modules
- Click Next
- Enter the report server URL
- Click Finish
At this point the 60 standard reports have been deployed to your report server and are ready to use. Navigate to your reports home page and you will have a folder for each GP company that you selected in the setup.
